NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Moira Town Board will hold a public hearing on November 14, 2023 at 7:30 PM at the Town of Moira Town Offices, 522 County Route 6, Moira concerning proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2023.
The proposed Local Law is to provide real property tax exemption for volunteer firefighters and volunteer ambulance workers pursuant to NYS Real Property Tax Law § 466-a. A draft copy is currently posted on the Town of Moira Facebook page.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that at the time and place of the Public Hearing all interested persons will be given an opportunity to comment on proposed Local Law No 1 of 2023.
